MCE fifth graders take a trip to Frankfort; learn about government

Fifth graders from Mason-Corinth Elementary recently visited Frankfort, eager to learn about how Kentucky's laws are created and see democracy in action.

They toured the new and old Capitol, the Governor's Mansion and the Kentucky Museum History Center. During their trip to the new Capitol, the students met State Senator Damon Thayer and State Representative Royce Adams.
