Three Grant County residents were recently honored by the Grant 85 Masonic Lodge for contributions to their community and as scholarship recipients.
Those honored include:
• Harry Readnour, a minister and an officer in the corrections field is from the Corinth-Cordova area. He was recognized by Fred Jernigan, Jr. on behalf of the Lodge and the Grand Lodge of Kentucky, F&AM, for 40 years of service and study.
• Alexandra Haggerty, a 2012 graduate of Williamstown High School, received a scholarship from the lodge. Haggerty will be attending the University of Kentucky/Department of Agriculture this fall and pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine.
• Erica Stith, a 2012 graduate of Grant County High School, also received a scholarship from the lodge. Stith will be attending Thomas More College this fall, where she will be playing softball.
Widows of Mason were also recognized for their service to the lodge and community.
Grant 85 annually awards scholarships to graduating students, and honoring long service members and widows of Masons.
