Lady Demons season comes to a close

-A A +A
By Ryan Naus

The Williamstown softball team got into a rhythm , winning four of their final five games, just as their season ended.

But the Lady Demons ran out of time, as they fell to Simon Kenton 3-2 in the district tournament on May 18.

“My girls played as hard as I could have asked them to play,” coach T.J. West said. “We had nothing to lose. There was pressure on Simon Kenton and we played an errorless ball game. We played hard. Unfortunately, there’s got to be a loser and it was us.”
