Any time a team finishes with the same number of hits and errors, it usually equals a recipe for disaster.
Such was the case for the Williamstown High School softball team in the first round of the 32nd District Softball Tournament last week.
The Lady Demons fell victim to Simon Kenton 10-0 in six innings, amassing only four hits and committing four errors. With the loss, Williamstown's season came to an end, as did its two-year run of advancing to the finals and the regional tournament.
