Lady Braves look to build team unity on hardwood during summer

At this time a year ago, Darrell Guffey was getting his feet wet as Grant County High School's girls' basketball coach, having accepted the job just prior to entering the summer months.

A year later, Guffey is again getting his feet wet during the summer, as his team features a different look following the graduation of starters Salena McIntosh, Sarah Johnson and Bethany Hopperton, along with the loss of junior guard Candace Gorby to a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
