Indictments 7-22-10

The grand jury, which met July 14, returned indictments against 20 people.

An indictment means there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed; guilt or innocence is established later through the trial procedure.

Those indicted were:

• Cheerie Rae Mullins, 59, seven counts, theft by failure to make required disposition of property over $300.

• Regino Gabriel, 19, assault, first degree, wanton endangerment, first degree, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first offense and no operator’s license.

• Andrew P. Flachs, 37, manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense and controlled substance endangerment to a child, fourth degree.

• Candy R. Lohr, manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense and controlled substance endangerment to a child, fourth degree.

• Jimmie L. Napier, 29, manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense, and controlled substance endangerment to a child, fourth degree.

• Shawn W. Mardis, 38, four counts unlawful possession of a methamphetamine precursor, first offense.

• Michael D. Smith, 30, four counts unlawful distribution of a methaphetamine precursor, first offense and persistent felony offender, first degree.

• Angela R. Mardis, 36, two counts unlawful distribution of a methamphetamine precursor, first offense.

• Dustin W. Griffin, 30, receiving stolen property valued over $500 and persistent felony offender, first degree.

• James W. Thomas, 31, bail jumping, first degree.

• Howard J. Royalty, 53, burglary, third degree.

• Adam R. Weaver, 31, receiving stolen property valued over $500.

• Christopher L. Crittenden, 26, receiving stolen property valued over $500.

• Carlene E. Cronley, 28, possession of a controlled substance, first degree, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first offense and no operator’s license.

• David A. Cavins, 46, possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, second or subsequent offense, possession of marijuana, careless driving and persistent felony offender, first degree.

• Tonya A. Hopper, 38, possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense, possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense and possession of marijuana.

• Eric S. Davis, 33, flagrant nonsupport.

• Amanda L. Gates, 33, welfare fraud.

• Patti L. Sutton, 43, welfare fraud.

• Melissa L. Delaney, 30, welfare fraud.
