An indictment means there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed; guilt or innocence is established later through the trial procedure.
Those indicted were:
• Jefferson M. Hamilton, 28, for second-degree burglary and receiving stolen property over $500 but less than $10,000.
• Carl Scott, Jr., 34, for second-degree burglary, receiving stolen property over $500 but less than $10,000 and for being a persistent felony offender.
