The supposed quote from the late Senator Dirkson in the 60s was “A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon you are talking real money!” Perhaps today, it should be a trillion here…, etc.  What exactly is a trillion dollars? Let’s start small and wrap our minds around this. We all can see $1,000…just 10 hundred dollar bills. We can even see $100,000, that’s 100 thousand dollar piles or one thousand 100 dollar bills. With me so far?
