Working to win for the seniors and for better district seeding, the Williamstown Lady Demons defended their home court with a 59-55 win over Grant County.
"It's like a big weight's been lifted off my shoulders," senior Julie Knarr said. "We had a mission to beat them. That and our confidence in ourselves helped."
"It's a nice win," Williamstown coach Mark Wilhoit said. "They've owned us here lately. Grant County played well, but when we changed our defense from our 2-3 zone to man, we forced turnovers and had easier looks."
