On Saturday, May 11, all the post offices in Grant County will join forces to fight hunger as part of the annual “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive.
Support of this project is easy. Simply place non-perishable items in your mailbox on May 11 and postal carriers will pick it up.
Items can also be brought to your local post office.
All food is used for families in Grant County.
If everyone in Grant County placed two items in their mailbox, our local food pantries would be overflowing with much needed food.
It’s hard to imagine there are hungry people right here in this community, but they exist and without the support of programs such as Stamp Out Hunger the problem won’t go away.
