The Heller family will be host a celebration to honor Bruce Heller, of Maysville, on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 for his 50 years of faithful ministry for the Lord at the Fairview Christian Church in Williamstown.

Heller was ordained to the Christian Ministry on Aug. 26, 1962 by his home church, Sherman Church of Christ, in Barberton, Ohio.
He enrolled at the Cincinnati Bible Seminary following his high school graduation in 1958. During his sophomore year in 1960, he began preaching at the Fairview Christian Church in Williamstown. It was during his three years there he met and married Dorothy Epperson from the Fairview congregation on June 15, 1963. They are the parents of four children, Mark, Rebecca, Phillip and Seth and several grandchildren.

His preaching ministry led him the following years to the Grassy Creek Christian Church in Pendleton County, the Milford Christian Church in Bracken County, the Cedar Hill Christian Church in Louisville, the Highland Christian Church in Mason County, the Jessamine Christian Church in Nicholasville and to his present ministry at the East Fork Christian church in Lewis County where has ministered the past eight years.

He has held many revival meetings throughout his years of ministry.
All who have been impacted by his life and ministry through these years are invited to join Heller and his family for a visit and reception from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 at the Fairview Christian Church. There will be a special service at 6 p.m. celebrating his ministry and honoring his calling to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. His family, friends, and members from the churches where he has ministered are invited to join him for this celebration.
