Brian Linder and Wanda Crupper Hammons will go head-to-head at the polls once again, but this time for state representative.
In the 2010 general election, incumbent Linder handily defeated Hammons in the race for for Grant County magistrate for the second district.
Linder garnered 1,218 votes compared to Hammons’ 718 votes.
However, the pool of voters will be much larger in November as the candidates vie to replace long-time legislator Royce Adams, who is retiring as representative of 61st district in the House.
