Grooms called to Lystra Church of Christ

Joshua Grooms is following in his father’s footsteps when he accepted the call to pastor a church.
Grooms, a social studies teacher at Grant County High School, is the new minister at Lystra Church of Christ.
He grew up in Bellevue, where his father served as a minister. He graduated in 2000 from Batavia High School and attended Lincoln Christian College in Central Illinois before transferring to Northern Kentucky University where he earned his degree.
He has previously worked as a youth minister and Sunday School superintendent.
