Grant Schools to sponsor cable channel

Parents and community members soon may have increased access to information about the Grant County School District.

The Grant County School Board recently approved the first year of a five-year plan to have a district-sponsored cable channel with on-demand Internet capabilities.

The goal of the technology is to provide another outlet to distribute information about school events and news through video clips, photos, calendars and other methods.
