GRANT COUNTY NEWS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 4.26.12

Sean Moreland has been named the Grant County News Athlete of the Week for April 26. Moreland is the son of David and Nancy Moreland.

Grade in school: Senior, WHS
Sport(s): Track and Field, Golf
Age: 18
Hometown: Dry Ridge
Accomplishments: Making it to state in both golf and track and field last year.
History in your sport: This is my third year running track for Williamstown. I have also played golf for four years.
What do you do for fun/recreation: I love playing golf. I like fishing, hunting, and running track. I like hanging out with my friends.
Future plans:  I plan to attend Eastern Kentucky University in the fall.
What has been your most meaningful experience:  Making it to state in the 4x100-m relay, because it takes the whole team working together in order to accomplish the goal of qualifying for the state meet.
