For a month, the Grant County High School baseball team listened to its coaching staff about their 15-5 loss to 32nd District and county rival Williamstown.
On May 21, the Braves put an end to all the discussions, thumping out nine hits en route to a 9-1 victory over Williamstown in the first round of the 32nd District Tournament. The loss ended the season for the Demons (15-14), while Grant County advances to the final against Simon Kenton at 7 p.m. on May 23 at Williamstown High School.
