Grant boys golf ends season with 9-0 record

By Wade Holland

Despite failing to reach their ultimate goal of earning a spot in the state tournament, the Grant County Braves ended the 2013 golf season this week with heads held high after completing one of the most successful seasons in recent memory.
Grant County shot an above-average 326 at Monday’s regional championships held at the A.J. Jolly Golf Course in Alexandria, finishing well off the lead and out of contention for a spot as a team in the state championships. The Braves had the same luck with no individuals scoring high enough to advance past regionals.
