Grant board approves 2011-12 school calendar

As one school year gets ready to close, a new one has been set, as Grant County School Board adopted the 2011-2012 school calendar at their April 14 meeting.

School will start for the district on Aug. 15 – the same week as last year.

Some changes to the calendar are the teacher’s professional development days. This school year, the students went to school for a half day and the remainder of the day was for professional development.
