Girl Scouts host “It’s A Girl’s Life” on July 1 at library

Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road Council, in collaboration with the Grant County Library will host the free “It’s a Girl’s Life” program beginning at 1 p.m. on July 2 at the Grant County Public Library.

The program is open to all girls in the Grant County area that will be in grades K-5 in the fall of 2012.  “It’s a Girl’s Life” will run from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on July 2, July 9, July 16 and July 23.

This summer program was designed to give all girls in Grant County a Girl Scout experience, not just those girls fortunate enough to have been able to participate in traditional troops this past school year.
Throughout the four week program girls will have to opportunity to learn about Girl Scouting, do crafts, play games and make new friends!

Each week of  the “It’s a Girl’s Life” Program has its own theme:
• Week 1: Beach Fun
• Week 2: Space Spectacular
• Week 3: Make New Friends
• Week 4: Under the Sea
