GCMS Braves eye championship, strong finish

With 18 games remaining on the schedule, Grant County Middle School 8th grade boys' basketball coach Shawn West and the Braves have one goal—to win the conference championship.

"We have faced all but two teams in our conference, and I believe that we should have a good shot at winning this conference if we work hard as a team and make improvements as the season goes on. Our goal is to win the conference, point blank." West said.

The Braves brought a 7-4 mark into this week, including a 2-2 conference record.
