GCHS speech, drama earn second place finish at Lafayette tourney

On Saturday, Jan. 16, the Grant County High School speech and drama Team traveled to Lafayette High School to compete at the 2010 “Thelma Beeler” Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky. 

Twenty schools were represented at the tournament, with the following schools in attendance: Bardstown, Bethlehem, Boone County, Campbell County, Central Hardin, East Jessamine, Elizabethtown, Grant County, Harrison County, Knott County Central, Larry A. Ryle, Lexington Catholic, North Oldham, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Pike County Central, Rowan County, Southern Kentucky Academy, Scott County, Southwestern, and Trinity.

Grant County High School placed second overall behind Boone County High School.
