Heading into this year's Grant County High School Lady Braves Softball Classic, Marlin Gregg was hopeful his team would be competitive.
The GCHS softball coach got his wish, as the Lady Braves went 1-2 in the tournament and one of the loses came in extra innings.
"I was proud of the way our team played. I saw a lot of bright spots. The teams were very competitive. Our team becomes a little better each week. I am proud of the girls that are committed to hard work and sacrifice for the betterment of the team. That alone makes them winners on and off the field," Gregg said.
