With the season opener three weeks away, the Grant County High School football team is still in the midst of finding its identity this week at their annual camp.
"It's going well. The kids are working hard, and I'm pleased. We are getting better each day, but we still have a long way to go," coach Mike Davis said.
The Braves, who compiled a 6-4 record last year, got in one full day in pads and helmets on Aug. 1 before leaving for Kentucky Christian University Sunday morning, for what Davis calls a "trying time."
