GCHS Braves soccer gets off on right foot

-A A +A

Every coach knows the importance of getting the season off to a good start. But first-year Grant County boys’ soccer coach Garrett Griffith couldn’t have ask for more from his Braves.
Grant County opened it’s season in impressive fashion with a 5-0 victory over visiting Covington Holmes, followed by a 6-1 win over Covington Latin. The two wins are one-third of last season’s win total, and the 11 goals in two games gives the Braves one-forth of what they had all of last season.
