GCHS band competes at South Oldham

Grant County competed at South Oldham on Oct. 10 competing against Bullitt East and Madison Southern in 4A preliminary competition. Grant earned first in its class and best overall guard with another distinguished performance.

Entering into finals competition, the top three spots were separated by a margin of less than one point. This was going to be a close fight to the finish. Grant County band finished the night third, with a distinguished score of 84.2, only separating second and third place a tenth of a point.

The Grant County Marching Band will end regular season competition Oct. 24 at Boone County High School.
