GC Extension Office plans “Chocolate” class

The Grant County Extension Office will host an hour long class on “Chocolate,” at noon Feb.9.  The class will be held at the extension office on 105 Baton Rouge Road.  Topics to be covered include: The origin and history of chocolate, the chocolate making process and types of chocolate, chocolate substitutions, melting, tempering and storing. Finally, that age old question will be considered: “Is chocolate good for you?”

The class will be taught by Kathy Byrnes, Kenton County family and consumer science agent. Register with Nancy at 824-3355 by Feb. 5.
