A part-time deputy jailer could find himself behind bars after being indicted Feb. 8 by a Grant County grand jury.
Jason Stephens, 24, was indicted on charges of bribery of a public servant, a Class C felony with a penalty of five to 10 years and up to a $10,000 fine, and official misconduct in the first-degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
Two Grant County Detention Center inmates, Joshua D. Sexton, 28, and Jason D. Angel, 31, also were indicted for bribery of a public servant and being persistent felony offenders.
