Coach hopes Demons are peaking

The Williamstown High School baseball team and coach Buck Walter know at times the numbers do not tell the whole story.

Such is the case with not only the Demons' current 14-12 record (at press time) but also their 6-4 win over Heritage Academy on May 12.

"Heritage Academy's record is not indicative of how good they are. They have some good players, and our kids played a good game," Walter said.

Williamstown held a 6-2 lead heading into the seventh inning as Devon Hurley got the victory.
