-A A +A

Mackenzie Cloe of Berry, a 2010 graduate from Williamstown High School, is entering her junior year of college as an elementary education major at Northern Kentucky University. Cloe was recently named the Dean’s Scholarship award member along with only six other students in the department of the College of Education and Human Services.

This award is to recognize and honor outstanding academic accomplishments for students entering their junior or senior year of college. The honorees were chosen for their outstanding community service, engagement in extracurricular activities, and excellent academic records. This award comes with not only the feeling of much pride in her accomplishments but also full in-state tuition for a year donated by the College of Education and Human Services.

She recently finished her Admissions Practicum semester where she worked with a kindergarten class at Collins Elementary in Florence. This has been her most rewarding experience so far and she cannot wait to continue her dream as becoming an educator. She is the daughter of Randall and Susan Cloe.
