June 1 - Church picnic immediately following morning service.
• June 20 – 23 - Vacation Bible School beginning at 5:30 p.m. each evening (registration starting at 5 p.m.) The theme this year will be Missions with the kids boarding a flight to four different countries and enjoying the culture of that particular country and what our Missionaries experience. Dry Ridge Baptist
• May 27 – No evening services. The church office will be closed on May 28 for Memorial Day.
• May 30 – Distribution of Vacation Bible School fliers throughout the community. Meet at the church at 6:30 p.m. There will be no adult bible study.
• June 2 - Youth are having a car wash and yard sale at the church from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• June 3 – 8 - Vacation Bible School starts from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for ages 3 years through fifth grade.
No evening worship service on June 3 and no adult bible study on June 6.

Dry Ridge Presbyterian

Family Worship Center
May 30 - Joab Fischer and his fiancé, Amanda Page, will minister at 7 p.m. Joab ministers alongside his parents, Steve and Sharmin and his siblings, Naiah, Jasmine, and Jael. The Fischer family planted Faith Family Christian Church in Hong Kong, China in 2004 and do extensive mission work on main land China.
• June 3 – Church in the Park - 10 a.m. Grant County Park - worship and baptismal service and dinner on the grounds. Bring a lawn chair.
• June 4 - Grant County Ministers meeting 10 a.m. at the Family Worship Center in Williamstown.
• June 6 - Night of worship at 7 p.m.

Harvest Apostolic
• Pastor Pullens preached “I’m not impressed” (Jude 1:25) God said He is not impressed with how people have replaced Godly things in their life. He is not impressed by a person’s education, money, work outs, cars or jobs. God is impressed with how people dedicate theirselves to Him. Your dedication to Him is what will impress Him. How do you measure up?

Lystra Church of Christ
• Bro. Josh Grooms preached from Numbers, Chapter 12. Miriam and Aaron made God angry when they questioned His special relationship with his messenger Moses. Today, Christians receive their messages from God through the Bible by studying and obeying God’s commandments. The way Christians treat the Bible reflects the way they treat God.

Mt. Carmel Baptist
• The WMU is teaming up with the Walton L’Oreal Company and the Lions Club to collect prescription eyeglasses for the needy. The glasses can even be broken. This ministry will end May 27.

• The sermon was from Luke 7. In this world we all have jobs to do but when we go out on a limb, we find no one is there to back us up. If God gives you a job, he gives you the tools to do it. He also gives you the backing and the authority to do the job.

• Stewartsville Baptist member Joe Hughes died May 18. In his memory, any donations that are made to the church will be used towards a new playground.

• Sunday’s message was from chapter 3 of “The Story,” the life of Joseph. When we ask “Where is God?” He is still with us. He is still working for our good and to accomplish His will. God still has the last word.
