Mt. Carmel Baptist
• Dec. 8 - Annual Christmas meal after the morning services. The church will provide the meat and drinks. Everyone is asked to bring a cover dish and/or dessert.

also send the announcements via email and Facebook. The goal is to make a decision by 8 a.m. Sundays.
• The youth, as well as Barbara Pruiett, are collecting gloves for needy children between Nov. 18 through Dec. 31. There is a box in the back of the sanctuary and/or drop them off at any Forcht Bank location.
 
Mt. Olivet Christian

 • The e-4 student ministry group (teen small groups for middle and high school students) will begin meeting in September. On Dec. 15, this group will be Christmas caroling from 5-7:30 p.m.  See Danny if you have questions.
• Adult Bible study continues to meet from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays at the church and other home small groups are meeting throughout the week as well.
• Ladies prayer group will meet the first and third Saturdays.
• Children’s Christmas program. All children through fifth grade are encouraged to participate. Practice is being held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Sunday evenings at the church. See Anna Thompson if you have questions
• Dec. 8 - Old Fashioned Christmas Party at 5 p.m.
• Dec. 12 – 8 to 10 people are needed to help serve the annual holiday dinner at Grant Manor. Sign up on the back of your attendance card if you can help.
• Dec. 13 – Dec. 15 - The Eastern Kentucky Mission Trip. This year we will be filling totes with cleaning products and food, as well as purchasing gifts for 30 mentally challenged students. Donations can be brought in up until Dec. 8. See Rodney Edmondson if you are interested in going on this trip.
• Dec. 22 - Annual Christmas Celebration at 9:30 a.m. at Williamstown High School.  The children will be presenting “The Not So Silent Night” that morning.  This year we will not be having a meal as a part of the celebration, so that you may spend time with your family that day as well.
• Dec. 24 - Christmas Eve service will be at 7:30 p.m. at the church.  
 
Mt. Zion Baptist
• December begins the Lottie Moon Offering.
• Dec. 7 – The  2013 annual Associational Christmas Singing at 6 p.m. at the Sparta Baptist Church.
• Dec. 22 – The church will celebrate Christmas and observe the Lord’s Supper.  The choir will sing in the morning and the children will have a play Sunday night and we hope to have a special visitor and refreshments afterwards.
• Dec. 29 - Fifth Sunday Hymn Sing at 6:30 p.m. and snacks will begin at 5:30 p.m.
