• Kent and Paige Parrish, missionaries to the Philippines will speak at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11.

• Are you victorious over someone or something? Victory is an accomplishment over the power of Satan. Satan has his way with Christians, but God is more powerful in the long run. Christians can fend off the devil by resisting him with the love of God.

• Pastor Pullens preached “the blessing and the cursing of a servant” from 2 Timothy 2:24-26, Titus 2:9, Psalms 68:19, Psalms 103:2 and Psalms 116:12. There are principals and ethics to being a servant of Christ. You know you are a servant of Christ when you fully trust your master.

• Bro. Josh Grooms preached from the book of Jude and discussed the history of the Bible.  All scripture comes from God and is authentic.  Christians are not called to be passive in service but are encouraged to stand up for the truth of the Bible.

• Nov. 10th  2-4 p.m.- the church family will be having a skating party at Charlie’s Roller Rink on Hwy 36.
• The Harrison County Ministerial Association is planning to distribute Christmas food boxes and is in need of 100 boxes of stuffing. Bring donations on or before Dec. 2nd.
•  Nov. 11 - Veterans will be honored. After the service, there will be a potluck meal in the fellowship hall.
• The Christmas card exchange will start on Nov. 5 and end Dec. 12.

• Sunday morning services are at 8:45 and 11 a.m.
  • The E4 student ministry group (teen small groups for middle and high school students) will continue to meet from 5-7 each Sunday evening.  Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. and the students will then meet with their small group leaders. Adult Bible study continues to meet from 7-8 p.m. on Wednesdays.
• The E4 student ministry (teen small group) will be having a Canned Goods Scavenger Hunt from 5 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 12.
• MOM’s Christian Daycare currently has openings for children from infant age to preschool age.  The center is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. State assistance is accepted. Call 859-824-7499 for a tour.
• Christmas program: If you have a student in grades K-5, mark on the back of the attendance card if your child is interested in being in the Christmas Program.  Practices will be on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at church.
• December 7-9 is the annual Appalachian Christmas Mission Trip.

• Wayne Keith was Sunday’s guest speaker. Continuing in The Story, he preached about the resurrection, one of the most authenticated events in history. In I Corinthians 15:12 and following, tresurrection of Jesus is relevant to people then and today. Beause of the resurrection of Jesus our sins are forgiven; our present can have a purpose; and our future can have hope.
• The Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at the Williamstown Baptist Church at 7 p.m. on Nov. 18.

Williamstown Pentecostal Holiness
• Revival, featuring Bro. G. McCoy will be held at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 11. All are welcome.
