Community
• The 13 ladies who attended the state women’s ministries meeting shared their experiences Sunday morning.  One of the messages they heard was about “commitment.” Many people are not committed to their families, school or employers. There is a lack of commitment and loyalty to God and He deserves the best and all of us. Rhonda wrapped up the comments with a message from I Kings, chapter 18.
• Tuesdays - Pat Mann is teaching from Joyce Meyer’s book, “The Battlefield of the Mind.”  There are so many lessons TO learn.
• Aug. 20-24 - Revival with Ben Holloway - evening services begin at 7 p.m. (Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.).

• Bro. Gary spoke on support of the church. Whether it is physical, intellectual or prayer support, Christians must do their best to support the church, pastor and the Lord Jesus Christ. They must also care for each other and look out for young people.
• Sunday services – Sunday School at 10 a.m. and worship services at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

• Aug. 6 - Yard sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Aug. 9 - The Night Baptist Women will meet at 6:30 p.m.
• Aug. 11-12 - Annual Association Meeting from 7:30 p.m. Thursday and at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday at Pleasant Green Baptist Church.
• Aug. 14 - Monthly business meeting, following the evening worship service.

• Aug. 7 - Free Organ Concert at 2 p.m. - Public is invited to the Hook & Hastings Pipe Organ Concert  celebration of 220 years in Grant County.  There will be a hymn sing after the concert. There will be a potluck dinner after the morning service. Kathleen Daniels leads the Sunday services, which begins at 11 a.m. Visitors are welcome.

Worship Center
• Aug. 19 - 7 p.m. - “GottaGo” Rally. The church will light a fresh fire to make a difference this school year.  Invite your friends too. Prizes will be given away including a 4GB iPod Touch. Smoothies and ice cream will be available for purchase. Open to anyone sixth grade – 12th grade.

Community
• New program - The church has begun a youth group. Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays for ages 5-21. If you would like to attend, or would like for your children to attend, and need transportation, call Jim or Crystal Vanover at 859-814-1911.
• Aug. 19 - Family Fun Night will with dinner at 7 p.m. and at 8 p.m. there will be a movie in the sanctuary for the adults and a kid’s movie in the main Sunday school room.
• Aug. 27 – Youth trip to the Newport Aquarium with a picnic lunch to follow at Devou Park.
• The church is located at 400 S. Main Street and services are: Sunday School at 10 a.m.; worship services at  11a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Bible study and youth services at 7 p.m. Wednesdays.

• Sunday’s message by Bro. Josh Grooms, entitled “Seeking,” was about the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19.  Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost.  We must be worthy of his sacrifice.
• Pianist needed - Thanks to Marilyn Howard for sharing her gift of music with us every two weeks; but Lystra is in need of a pianist, if anyone would like to share their gift on alternate Sundays.

• On Sunday, Bro. Paul Marksberry preached from I Peter 2 : 1. Grace Morris and Janet Marksberry sang special music. Many attended the Fifth Sunday Singing.

Apostolic
• On Sunday, Bro. Matthew Lipe from Carrollton brought forth the word of God. Luke: 4. Just as Jesus was led into the wilderness experience, Christians are led into wilderness experiences. How Christians react to these times in their lives will determine whether they will triumph or ultimately be veiled in defeat. The key factor to being victorious in these times is to praise God. The worship we give to the Lord is the solution out of our negative circumstances.

• Sundays - Youth meeting at 5 p.m.
• Wednesdays - Children’s Bible study at 7 p.m.
• Aug. 3-7 – Fall revival at 7 p.m. Pastor Mike Jones will be the speaker. Christians need to wake up. People are dying lost all around and Christians just worry about themselves and go to church on Sundays and do their usual routine. The walk with Christ shouldn’t be just a routine.

• Sunday morning started with special music by Mary and Shelby Conrad. Bro. Bruce’s message came from Matthew 15; Jesus had compassion for everyone. Christians need to be like him and go that extra step and show true compassion for those who are in need.
• Aug. 5 - Back to school bash at the church: 5 p.m. - outdoor games and water activities; 6 p.m. dinner; 7 p.m. a movie. All children and adults are welcome to attend.
• Aug. 27 - Fish fry/singing/corntoss tournament at church.
• Happy fifth birthday to Ryan Knight on Aug. 4.

• Sunday was Youth Sunday and the young people led the worship service. Youth Minister Micah Montecalvo  preached the message: Romans 13: 1-8. The debt Christians owe is loving other’s everyone and unconditionally.
• Aug. 4 - Senior Saints and anyone who would like to participate will meet at 11 a.m. in the church fellowship hall for a brief Bible study and a potluck luncheon.
• Aug. 7 - WCC, along with Antioch, will be the host for the Singspiration Sunday at 6 p.m. at WCC.
• Aug. 13 - The church will have a booth at the Grant County Back to School Blowout.
• Aug. 14 - Promotion Sunday during the morning worship service. There will be a College Send-Off Family Reunion at 6 p.m.

Williamstown
United Methodist
• Aug. 5 - Men’s softball game at 7 p.m. at Crittenden Baptist Church.
• Aug. 7 - WUMM breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Worship service at 11 a.m. and at 5 p.m. WUÂC Mission Moments.Church members will talk about their summer mission experiences. Snacks will be provided. Mission team meeting will be held immediately following the 5 p.m. service.
• Aug. 8 – Men’s prayer breakfast at 6 a.m. Cracker Barrel in Dry Ridge. Bible study will be at 1 p.m. at the church.
