The Kentucky Wildcats traveled down south the past weekend to face off against Alabama’s Crimson Tide. The only thing more odd than this team’s mascot was the game itself. It would be overly polite to say the game was a defensive struggle. Anyone other than Jodie Meeks seemed unable to make a shot as the team had more turnovers than made baskets in the first half. The sad thing was that Kentucky actually shot a slightly higher percentage than Alabama in the first half, but still only managed to score 19 points. Yes, 19 points.
