Williamstown Tractor Supply wins district champion award
The Williamstown Tractor Supply Company (TSC) store was recently recognized for winning the paper clover “District Champion” award for being the store with the highest transaction percentage in the district during the 4-H/TSC Spring 2013 Paper Clover Promotion. Store employees at the Williamstown TSC store had 20.5 percent of all transactions include a 4-H paper clover purchase and will be presented with a certificate and ribbon from 4-H to recognize this achievement.
The 4-H/TSC Paper Clover Campaign is a nationwide, in-store fundraiser that benefits 4-H programming in the communities where a TSC store is located. The spring campaign raised over $500,000 that supports 4-H on the local, state, and national level. During the twelve day promotion, which ran May 8 through May 19, the Williamstown TSC raised $714 for 4-H in Grant County.
The TSC in Williamstown will be holding a 2013 Fall Paper Clover Promotion on Oct. 9 through Oct. 20.
The effort has provided direct support for local camps, after-school programs and other activities, and has granted scholarships to these events that youth can explore their interests in everything from animal science to robotics. For more information, visit www.tractorsupply.com/4-h.
