Braves, Lady Braves sweep home games April 6

The Grant County Braves handled the Pioneers, defeating Simon Kenton 10-0 in five innings April 6. The win improved their record to 5-0 on the season. Senior pitcher Aaron Goe sealed his third win of the young season. Senior catcher Brandon Holder had two hits, including a triple. Next up for Grant County is a road game at Ryle April 7. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.

The Lady Braves defeated Conner 4-2 April 6, to snap a four-game losing streak. The victory moved them to 6-4 on the season, as they will gear up for Williamstown (2-3) at home, April 7. First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m.
