The Williamstown Lady Demons won the 8th Region All “A” Classic, defeating Gallatin County 63-62.

Susan Wood, a freshman led the Lady Demons with 21 points and her sister, Beth Wood, chipped in with 20 points.

Williamstown’s record improved to 11-3. Ed Gabbert coached the Lady Demons.

Williamstown junior Greg Evans joined the 1,000-point club against Carroll County.

Evans had 42 points in the game, while also grabbing 15 rebounds.

The Demons won their eighth game of the season and third consecutive game, defeating Cynthiana 62-51.

Bobby Hall led all Demons with 21 points.
