ACS needs help with cancer patients

-A A +A

The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to drive patients to cancer treatment. Last year, volunteers helped 38 patients get to over 900 cancer treatment related appointments in the Northern Kentucky Area.
If you have a few hours per week, you can help save a cancer patient’s life by contacting the American Cancer Society at 859-647-2200.
The American Cancer Society is also looking for a volunteer coordinator to schedule rides for cancer patients. This volunteer opportunity would involve scheduling volunteers to drive cancer patients to treatment. Volunteer coordinators need to have a valid email address in order to receive information about patients who need rides. This position will require the volunteer to attend a two-hour training.
