National College announces dean’s list
National College (www.national-college.edu) in Florence has released the dean’slist for the spring terms. The following students achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.5 out of a possible 4.0 and thus achieving the honor and privilege of being placed on the dean’s list:

Locals make Georgetown College dean’s list
The following students have been named to the dean’s list at Georgetown College for the 2011 spring semester. The dean’s list honors undergraduate students who completed the semester with at least 12 credit hours and a 3.7 GPA, according to Dr. Rosemary Allen, Provost/Academic Dean.
• Casey Jo Beyersdoerfer of , daughter of Steve and Tracey Rachford of Crittenden.
• Devon R. Kells, daughter of Harold and Karen Kells of Dry Ridge.
• Rachel Elizabeth Madden, daughter of William and Sheila Madden of Dry Ridge.
• Joshua Charles Rump, son of Gary and Teresa Rump of Williamstown.
Local students among spring EKU graduates
Eastern Kentucky University recognized 1,493 graduates at the conclusion of the Spring 2011 semester. The graduates were honored at commencement ceremonies May 7.
