Emily Wolz has achieved second honors for the second quarter at Covington Latin School. Wolz is the daughter of Tom and Melissa Wolz of Dry Ridge.

University of the Cumberlands

University of the Cumberlands has announced that Nichole Brooke Mathews, of Dry Ridge, wife of Chaz Mathews, received a Master of Arts in education on Jan 14.

Pratt Community College

Megan Zerr of Grant County has been name to the President’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2009 semester at Pratt Community College.

The President’ List is comprised of those students who attain an academic standing of a 4.0 grade point average.

University of Kentucky

Boston Howe has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at the University of Kentucky. Howe is a senior studying agricultural economics. Howe is the son of Steve and Monica Howe of Dry Ridge.

The dean’s list is comprised of those students who attain an academic standing of 3.50 or better and have earned 12 or more credits for the semester.
