The Florence Campus of National College announced the graduates in the class of 2012. The following students received their degrees and diplomas at the graduation ceremony held on May 22 at Receptions Banquet Hall:

Rogers makes dean’s list at Bluegrass Community
Susan Rogers of Corinth, a student in her second year at Bluegrass Community and Technical College has been named to the Spring 2012 dean’s list. She is working towards a degree in medical information technology. This is the third time Rogers has been named to the Dean’s List. A student is named to the Dean’s List who achieves a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Her projected graduation date is 2014.

Gray receives
UK scholarship

Cory Gray, of Dry Ridge, has been selected to receive the University of Kentucky’s Patterson Scholarship.
The Patterson Scholarship is a four-year renewable scholarship valued at $68,000. The award covers the cost of tuition, room and board, $1,000 yearly stipend, an iPad2, and $2,000 for a Summer Education Abroad program.
Gray is a 2012 graduate of Grant County High School.

Centre students earn dean’s list honors
Local students have been named to the winter/spring dean’s list at Centre College, an honor reserved for students who maintain at least a 3.60 grade point average.
  Ryan Eldridge is the son of Karen Iseral and Bryan Eldridge, both of Crittenden, and is a graduate of Grant County High School.
 Dean Faulkner is the son of Kathy Faulkner and the late Jeff Faulkner of Williamstown and is a graduate of Williamstown High School.
Centre College, founded in 1819 and chosen to host its second Vice Presidential Debate in 2012, is ranked among the U.S. News top 50 national liberal arts colleges, at 42nd in the nation and ranks 27th for best value among national liberal arts colleges.
